Organize Home Office Tips
The old adage, a messy desk is a busy man’s desk, could
use some reviewing. The person with a messy desk might
be busy but how much is he accomplishing? A good clutter
free workspace clears the mind for the task at hand.
Organizing the Home Office:
Customizable closet systems aren't just for bedroom closets. Use a combination of shelves, drawers and hanging storage in a spare bedroom closet and it can double as a home office space.
Place items most often used closest to your main work
area.
Remove everything from the top of the desk and wipe
clean.
Sort papers, junk mail, business cards, etc.
into throw away or keeper piles.
Get rid of pens that don’t write. Put three or four of your
favorite pens into the keeper pile and the remainder in
another. Do the same for pencils and highlighters.
All other items that don’t belong on a desk should be
put in keeper, throw away, give away or garage sale
piles.
