Everyone needs to organize the office to operate more efficiently. Today people do business in every kind of space - from traditional business suites and home based offices to cubicles and converted closets.
Taking the time to organize your office will pay off every day. You will not have to hunt for lost items and files.
Organizing the office:
A desk lamp that shines the light down on your work
area is a must.
Position a calculator and or a phone for ease of use.
Coffee mugs are great for holding pens, pencils,
highlighters, scissors, and a letter opener.
Keep a small desk organizer for handy access to
such items as rubber bands, paper clips, stapler, tape, self stick and
note pads.
A yearly desk calendar, with large blocks for each day,
is a great place to keep track of appointments, birthdays and
personal notes. If you're short on space, a wall calendar easily viewed from your desk will work.
The office or any type of work area can benefit from a storage station on wheels and storage bins and trays.
Build or add a shelving unit above your desk to store office items.
